Steps:
Confirm your unified workbook
If you have not already, follow Unify your ad platforms data to create a governed workbook with standardized metrics.
Use any existing metric or create your own to set up an alert for.
Connect Slack and Gmail
Open the alerts panel in your workbook.
Add Slack and Gmail as destinations. For Slack, pick the channel. For Gmail, set recipients and a subject prefix. Add other destinations if needed.
Choose metrics and conditions
Select one or more metrics, including your custom ones.
Add conditions like above target, drops, or differs from median.
Format the message
Add a short title, the key metrics, and a link back to the exact view. Include a brief line on what changed so teammates know what to do next.
Test and start
Send a test to Slack and Gmail. Confirm formatting and fields. Start the alert.
